It is a fact that Black and Brown women need to live easier lives. However, do you require a life of grace and ease as a basic standard? What would your mental health, your physical health and your well-being be like if you created an environment or environments that allowed you to rest, recharge and realign with who you are? How would you operate if you allowed yourself to take time to simply just BE.

Let me clear with you Hun… no matter what the world says… YOU DESERVE EVERY GOOD THING!

At this point, I am fully convinced that rest and ease is a luxury that many of us just can’t afford and that’s not right or healthy. We are the most stressed, the most disrespected and the most neglected yet we are made to feel as if rest is a privilege only for the rich and wealthy.

Ok, now that I got that out of the way… lets pivot and discuss how we will have to move in order to survive this worldwide assault on feminine black women who are simply asking for what we need, deserve and want.

Let’s talk about 4 ways that we can make GRACE AND EASE the standard in our lives.

1) MAKE OUR HOMES OUR SANCTUARY

When the world is acting all manosphereish, make your home the place where you can find peace and comfort for your soul. Some of the practices that I implement in my home are: Reading, listening to calming music in the mornings, lighting candles, keeping the home clean and smelling fresh, doing morning meditation, having high morning tea time, exercising and more.

These things help me to keep the peace in my home and flourish in my femininity. Making your home your sanctuary helps you to have a place to relax and reset. One important that I love about my home is that it's perfectly designed to my taste and it's where I feel at peace. Have you designed your home to match your personality and style? It's a process but it's absolutely worth the effort/

2) MAKE YOUR STANDARDS AND NON-NEGOTIABLES KNOWN ALWAYS

What are your standards for your relationship, life, and workplace? Have you taken the time to really think about it? Letting people know up-front what I will and will not except has been a game changer for me. When people knowingly or unknowingly cross my boundaries, I quickly conduct a care-frontation for the sake of clarity and peace. This is a healthy habit that I have been employing because I have learned that it works. Tell others when they have offended you or upset you in any way. Being open and honest makes the relationship grow.

3) GET SUPER CLEAR ABOUT YOUR BOUNDARIES

I know that you are probably sick of me right now... You're like Ahava! Why do you keep talking about boundaries all the time? Hunny, it's because I want it to sink deep down in your soul. YOU NEED BOUNDARIES!!!! Boundaries help to protect our mind, soul and spirit from people who are evil. There is no proper way to say it but some people are the children of the devil and they are seeking kind-hearted women like you to use and abuse. You standards and your boundaries will be a defense against these Narcissistic types that need your energy to survive. Don't be out here giving other people your life-force Hun, you need that for yourself and your destiny.

4) KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO LET GO OF

Are you holding on to people, places and things that no longer serve you? I know it's hard but so people and things need to go like yesterday. Holding on to unprofitable things only makes you over burdened and heavy. Letting go of thing frees up your spirit to receive bigger and better things. So maybe it's time to make a list of things that are constantly holding you back from your purpose. Hun! take out those spiritual scissors and start cutting off the extra baggage and clutter in your life. I know you will feel a lot better afterwards!
