Black Women... Don’t lie... Do You Feel Protected By Black Men?

Ok... so I know that you saw what happened at the 2022 Oscars recently. I know you probably may have mixed feelings about the whole situation and sis, I do too. Was Will Smith right for sucker slapping Chris Rock or did Will overreact? Knowing the entanglement Jada Pickcke-Smith found herself in with August, was she ever worth being protected? Why did Chris Rock just allow Will to publicly shame him with a dutty Nigerian slap and he did absolutely NOTHING? We ALL got questions! Nevertheless, this whole situation had me thinking... Black Women!!! Do you feel protected by Black Men? And if “No”, then why.

THE VUNERABILITY OF BLACK WOMEN IN AMERICA

I can’t lie sis, I felt a tingling in my heart when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. Not because I wanted to see another black man be humiliated in-front of his family, his friends and the entire world, but more so because it was the first time in a long time that I’ve seen a Black man openly physically protect and defend a Black women. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am sure that there are plenty of black men out there who are holding their wives and families down and protecting their loved ones with their lives. However, there have been too many times when black women have been in violent or vulnerable situations (many times at the hands of black men) and black men have turned a blind eye to there cries. Here is a video of a discussion about this by Kevin On Stage in which I thought was interesting. And pay close attention to the comment section Hun... it gets real!

SO... WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES FOR PROTECTION FOR BLACK WOMEN AND SHOULD THERE BE ANY?

Soooo, I have to ask... Why do black women feel that they are NOT protected by black men? And are there conditions for black women to be worthy of being protected? I have watched videos where black men have stated things like “Until black women submit, they are not worthy of protection. REALLY? I will save my thought on this for another time. Let’s continue!

THE IMPORTANCE OF EMBRACING TRADITIONAL FEMININITY

As The Traditional Femininity Coach™️ I can not express how important it is to reclaim true femininity. Why? because true masculinity will ALWAYS provide for and protect true femininity. Although in many ways requiring prerequisite for protection from the men we love, need, and will willing die for seems unfair, my wonderful husband made me realize that there are levels to a mans responsibility to protect. We have to realize that men don’t and will never think like women.

So, what do you think sis? Was Will right for defending Jada and is Jada the type of woman who is qualified for protection? Did Chris Rock do the right thing by choosing peace over tussle. Should there be conditions for black men to protect black women and if so... WHY?
