So, you are on your feminine journey and you're at the beautiful space where you’re ready to change your wardrobe to a more feminine one. This can be so overwhelming because now you have to make some important decisions on whether you want to keep or discard your beloved apparel. Having to sift through hundreds or maybe even thousands of items can be a daunting task but it becomes a hell of a lot easier when you understand what your signature image is.
Discovering your signature image is where it's at because it saves us time that many of us already don't have to give. Who in 2022 want's to take 1hr sifting through clothes and shoes and trying on outfits that are too small or just doesn’t look right on your current body... NOT ME SIS! So below I am gonna give you some tips on how you can start the process of creating YOUR new signature image as a feminine woman.
#1 CHOOSE A FEMININE AVATAR THAT MATCHES YOUR AESTHETIC
Every woman has an aesthetic. Some women are into Princess Core, Artistic styles or Boho styles. All of these different expression are valid depending on your authenticity and what what you gravitate towards. However, when you are making more feminine changes in your wardrobe, you now have the creative power to change and or elevate to a difficult aesthetic if you desire to. When you want to create your signature style, it's important that you choose an image avatar as your model. What I like to use for this is Pinterest Boards. They allow you to see a visual of what styles really speak to you and your unique personality. So, create new Pinterest Board and start searching for new types of feminine styles. Save those styles because you will need them when shopping for new clothes.
#2 CREATE YOUR UNIQUE COLOR PALETTE
We all know that Black Women can wear just about any color and flourish Hunny. There is no color that really looks bad on us however, having a color palette that matches well with your skin tone is a game changer. Hunny, it's something about when your skin matches and blends with the colors of your outfit.....B-A-B-Y, it makes you a total package really to be delivered to your new husband. Choosing your unique color palette is a fun process and all it takes is for you to discover what color you like and love on your body. Are you into nudes and neutrals? #3 THINK FEMININE WHEN CHOOSING NEW OUTFITS
Our goal here is to look as feminine as possible... RIGHT? So, when you are at the mall choosing new clothes, shoes and accessories... think FEMININITY and MODESTY! You don't want to select clothes that are too tight, too short or too loose. Knowing your true size will help tremendously with this. Be sure to have your Pinterest open and your Canva color palette ready to go. Don't be afraid to try on all the clothes you've chosen at the store. This will help you to save time and money returning items that don't fit. Enjoy the process, Have fun and remember that your clothes are to make you feel beautiful... choose wisely!
